Equine dentistry is one of the most important parts of their regular health care. Over time, a horse’s teeth will wear in patterns that reflect their diet, habits and environment. For many horses, uneven wearing can lead to a variety of medical problems that require expensive and invasive interventions. Sharp points on the teeth can cause cuts and ulcers to form on the inside of their cheeks, causing pain and discomfort.
